Happy Mother’s Day
Sweaty Texan (AKA ‘P‘) I have to admit, it’s one of my favorite movie quotes as well. We should make it our next movie night movie!

Currently Listening To…
Sarah Speaking of Grace Jones’ body, I’ll never forget the time she was on Johnny Carson and was wearing a one piece metal corset (complete with breasts). It was the coolest thing I’d ever seen. Johnny commented on it, and she took it off (she was wearing a jacket) and gave it to him. SO cool! I’d KILL to have some Grace Jones memorabilia! Continue reading

Friday Feedback (April 24)
Natalee I guess I never did post them on here (re: Xmas photos). No,I haven’t uploaded them to Flickr yet. I will have to do that…once I relocate them on my desktop. I’ll keep you posted!

R.I. P. Bea Arthur
Nomad I hear ya! I dunno if I can pinpoint exactly when Bea started making my life a little better, but I’d have to guess around the time Maude was still on the air. I think the show was on for like 6 years, but I don’t think I probably started watching it until the last year. I’m positive I wasn’t old enough to appreciate the humor, but I learned to in time. Bea was a very talented, savvy lady whom I will sincerely miss. Here’s hoping she’s in a better place.

The Road to YoVille
Natalee Isn’t it weird that so many want to get sexual? I find it more than a little disturbing. Seriously. I’m no prude, but I just never got ‘virtual’ sex. Ever.

On the flip side, I’ve since: Got scammed out of 800 coins by someone who said that they could “double” my coins. I was always apprehensive before, but for some unknown reason, I thought “Why not? Maybe I’m being too cynical.” Moments later in some bitch’s apt., I get shilled for 800. Whatta jackass!

I’ve also met a lot more people (mostly female) whom I enjoy talking to. The consensus seems to be that I make them laugh. Hey, I’ll take what I can. I’m pretty much myself, even more so maybe, in YoVille. Befriended lotsa cool people.

Sarah Heh heh heh! It IS addicting, isn’t it?! I’m telling you, decorating your apt. and shopping for the furnishings is such a kick. I must also admit that I get a kick out of giving people gifts. It’s a lot of fun. I told you so! Nyah!

ggw_bach True, true (re: the full outcome of the digital age won’t be seen for a few years. Don’t write them off yet!!). However, after hearing, firsthand, things come out of their mouth, like: “What kinds of dessert do you got?”, “It’s electronical*,” and “O-M-G, his father died?” can you blame me for being highly skeptical? LOL! *I looked this up and it’s actually a word! Insane. It sounds SO wrong.

Meet Chumley
Natalee Thanks! She’s a sweetie…a temperamental sweetie, but a sweetie nonetheless.
Sarah AND my yoga cat snorts when she grooms herself. LOL! Thanks, glad to be back!
Cindi Thank you! I think I’m gonna keep her trimmed this same way, but let it grow out in the colder months. Continue reading

Before I begin my Feedback post, here’s an update on what’s been going on: P came over late last night and we watched Shag and he introduced me to Grand Theft Auto (I forget which one) on his PS2. I’m such an old lady, but I’m mesmerized by all the shit he can do in that game. Seriously, I stopped at Nintendo 64. And for good reason: I can’t do all that three-dimensional multi-button shit. It’s just sensory overload. I’d get way too hyper, spaz out and die. I just know it. LOL! However…he did leave the PS2 here (he’s coming back to spend the night tonight, so we can leave early tomorrow morning) and I’m tempted to make a trip up to work and rent the one PS2 game I have played: Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters. God, I love that game! My friend Nathan left it and his PS2 at my house a while back, and you literally didn’t see me for a week. The game has lots of mini games and my favorite was one where you just destroy a city (your choice). That’s it. You just DESTROY SHIT: knock over building with your tail, stomp on things, throw tankers/cars at building, etc. It was such a rush. I couldn’t get enough of it! I may have to get a PS2 after all. Dammit, P! Continue reading
