Alright, back in August, I reviewed Cedarlane’s Burrito Grande. Meh, I wasn’t impressed. It was rather blande. As promised, I mentioned I would review their Chicken Burrito Grande, once I’d tried it. Well, the wait is over.

First off, I cooked the burrito in the oven. It smelled DELICIOUS cooking and I already had high hopes that having chicken as the added ingredient, it would make a difference in the taste. On the flipside of that coin, I hoped that the chicken it did contain would not be in those ridiculous cubed chunks, like so many frozen food items containing chicken.

To get off the beaten path, for a moment, I have to say that I may be one of the few people on the planet who does not equate bigger portions/chunks of meat with “more value” and/or quality. I’ve noticed over the years that things like soup and even fast food hamburgers, boast “bigger pieces” and/or “poundage” (regarding hamburger patty size). Continue reading
