I just realized I totally forgot to mention why there was no activity on the blog last week: I re-opened my online store! Yep, I’ve had an online store with CafePress since 2006, but it’s been inactive for a few years (it seems like longer!). And the reason for that is because I accidentally deleted EVERYTHING in the store; it’s entire contents. When I did this, I was so infuriated that I just threw up my hands and said ‘Fuck it!’ and literally walked away. It was sooo time-consuming getting it set up and prepping the images, etc. that I just did not have the patience to start all over again.

So, I’ve been wanting yet another outlet for my creativity, so I decided to start it up again and it’s been so much fun! Besides, it makes me feel like I’m actually doing something while I’m sans job. Trust me, I’m not gonna break the bank with my sales from the store, but I really enjoy doing it, and my work gets exposure, so that’s enough for me. Unfortunately, the base price of so many of the items is so ridiculous that I hate to add much of a ‘commission’ (whatever dollar amount I add to make the price above & beyond the base price = my profit) to the items, because I know I wouldn’t pay some overblown price for some of the items. So, in most cases, I am making $1 and up per item: I’ve sold 3 things. Oh well, I’m just glad someone out there digs my stuff! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to appear ungrateful, in regards to my profit margin vs sales. I totally appreciate any and all sales, I’m just saying that it’s not so much about the money as it is about the exposure (and my ego. LOL!).

Anyhoo, here’s a smattering of some of the items I have to offer at the store. I have everything from men/women’s shirts to tote bags, coffee cups, Flip cams and racks and racks of cards. AND you’ll be happy to know that the T-shirt quality is VERY good (a friend bought one of my shirts). I stopped making the journals early on because I saw the quality and it’s crap, so you won’t find any blank journals in my store. Otherwise, everything else has checked out, so should you decide to buy something, do it with confidence.

P.s. For those wondering what the store's name means, 'Seul' is French for 'alone.'

Aw, thank you, Krys! Naturally, I only want you to buy something if you actually like it. I realize my ‘style’ isn’t everyone’s cup-o-tea.

Also, I think sometime around June or July that CafePress has a sale on T-shirts (they just had a Tax Refund sale on T-Shirts), where they knock off $5 (I still get my regular commission). They do that from time to time, so keep that in mind! 🙂
